From Tokeh Beach, head east on the main road (Bureh Town Road) towards Freetown. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout onto the Lumley Road. Drive straight for about 10 kilometers, then turn left onto the Hill Station Road. Follow the Hill Station Road for about 5 kilometers until you see the signs for Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary. The sanctuary will be on your right. Make sure to check for parking upon arrival.

From Tokeh Beach, you can catch a local bus (often referred to as 'poda poda') going towards Freetown. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at the Lumley Junction.
