From Tokeh Beach, head east on the main road (Bureh Town Road) towards Freetown. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout onto the Lumley Road. Drive straight for about 10 kilometers, then turn left onto the Hill Station Road. Follow the Hill Station Road for about 5 kilometers until you see the signs for Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary. The sanctuary will be on your right. Make sure to check for parking upon arrival.

Public Bus
From Tokeh Beach, you can catch a local bus (often referred to as 'poda poda') going towards Freetown. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at the Lumley Junction. The fare should be around 5,000 Leones. Once you arrive at Lumley Junction, transfer to a bus heading towards Hill Station. The fare for this leg will be approximately 3,000 Leones. Get off at the Hill Station area and follow the signs to Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary, which is about a 15-minute walk uphill from the bus stop.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Tokeh Beach to Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary. The fare for this trip will be around 80,000 to 100,000 Leones, depending on your negotiation skills. The driver will take you directly to the sanctuary, which is approximately 30 kilometers away.
