Walking
If you are at Bugis Junction, exit the mall and head towards Victoria Street. Walk straight along Victoria Street for about 10 minutes. You will pass by several local shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for the large National Library building, which is on your right at 100 Victoria St.
Public Transport - Bus
From Bugis MRT Station, take the bus from the Bugis Bus Interchange. Look for bus numbers 7, 32, 54, 61, or 196. Alight at the stop named 'National Library' which is just outside the library. The journey will take approximately 5-10 minutes.

From Bugis MRT Station (EW12/DT14), take the Downtown Line (Blue Line) towards Bukit Panjang. Alight at the next station, 'Bencoolen MRT Station' (DT21). Exit the station and walk towards Victoria Street. The National Library is about a 5-minute walk from the station.
