Walking
If you're starting from Bugis MRT Station, exit the station and head towards Victoria Street. Turn left onto Victoria Street and walk straight until you reach the junction with Rochor Road. Cross the road at the traffic lights. Continue walking along Rochor Road until you reach Bencoolen Street. Turn right onto Bencoolen Street and walk until you reach the junction with Bras Basah Road. Turn left onto Bras Basah Road, and continue straight until you reach the junction with the Singapore River. At this point, you will see the National Museum of Singapore on your right. Keep walking straight; the road will change names to Fort Canning Road. Follow this road until you reach the entrance to the Singapore Botanic Gardens on Cluny Road. It will be on your left.

From Bugis, walk to the nearest bus stop at Bugis Junction. Board bus number 7, 14, 16, or 77. Stay on the bus for about 10-15 minutes, and get off at the 'Cluny Park' bus stop, which is right outside the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Once you get off, walk towards the entrance, and you will find yourself at the stunning gardens.
