Soaring Heights: The Iconic Singapore Cable Car

Walking

If you are in Bukit Timah, you can start your journey to the Cable Car by walking to the nearest MRT station, which is the Botanic Gardens MRT Station (on the Downtown Line or Circle Line). From the station, exit towards the Botanic Gardens and follow the signs leading to the bus stop. Take Bus 7 or Bus 105 from the bus stop located outside the entrance of the Botanic Gardens. The bus will take you to the HarbourFront MRT Station. Once you arrive at HarbourFront, follow the signs to VivoCity shopping mall. Once inside VivoCity, head to Level 3 where you will find the ticketing area for the Cable Car. It's a short walk from the mall entrance to the cable car station.

Public Transport

From Bukit Timah, walk to the nearest bus stop and take Bus 184, which will take you directly to the HarbourFront bus interchange. Once you arrive at the interchange, look for the HarbourFront MRT Station. You can then take the escalators up to VivoCity mall. Inside VivoCity, navigate to Level 3 to reach the Cable Car station. This is a convenient way to reach your destination without needing to walk too much.

Taxi or Ride-Sharing

If you prefer not to walk or take public transport, you can use a taxi or a ride-sharing service like Grab. Simply request a ride to 'Cable Car at 42 Imbiah Rd'. The driver will take you directly to the cable car station. This option is more comfortable, especially in hot weather, and will get you there quickly.
