Walking
If you are starting from Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, exit the reserve and head southeast towards Jalan Anak Bukit. Continue on Jalan Anak Bukit until you reach the Bukit Timah MRT Station. From there, take the MRT towards the Downtown Line and alight at Beauty World MRT Station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to Upper Bukit Timah Road and take a right turn. Walk straight until you reach the junction with Jalan Jurong Kechil, then continue straight. You can find the bus stop nearby where you can catch Bus 67 or 170 towards the Woodlands. Get off at the last stop, and from there it's about a 10-minute walk to the Johor Ancient Temple, located at Lot 653, Jalan Trus.

From Bukit Timah, you can take Bus 67 or Bus 170 from the bus stop along Upper Bukit Timah Road. Board the bus and enjoy the ride. After about 30 minutes, alight at the stop nearest to the Johor Bahru customs. Once you get off the bus, follow the signs to cross into Johor Bahru. After clearing customs, you should be able to catch a local taxi or ride-sharing service to Lot 653, Jalan Trus, where the Johor Ancient Temple is located. It’s a short drive from the customs area to the temple.
