Getting There

  • Walking

    From Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, head southeast towards Upper Bukit Timah Road. Walk along Upper Bukit Timah Road until you reach the junction with Bukit Timah Road. Cross Bukit Timah Road and continue walking straight onto Upper Bukit Timah Road. After about 500 meters, you will reach the Beauty World MRT Station. Take the MRT towards the Downtown Line. Alight at Bugis MRT Station. From Bugis Station, transfer to the East West Line and head towards Pasir Ris. Alight at Bugis Station and exit towards Victoria Street. Walk along Victoria Street until you reach the intersection with Sultan Gate. Turn right onto Sultan Gate and continue walking for about 300 meters until you reach the Malay Heritage Centre at 85 Sultan Gate.

  • Public Transport (Bus + Walking)

    From Bukit Timah, walk to the nearest bus stop (Bukit Timah Road - Beauty World Centre). Take bus number 66 or 170. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and alight at the Kampong Glam stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the Sultan Gate, which is approximately a 5-minute walk. The Malay Heritage Centre will be on your left at 85 Sultan Gate.
