Getting There
Bus
From Bukit Timah, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located along Bukit Timah Road. Catch bus number 67 or 75 towards the Bukit Merah area. Stay on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the 'Henderson Road' bus stop. Once you alight, walk towards Mount Faber Road, which is a short 10-minute walk. Turn left onto Mount Faber Road, and you'll find the Singapore Cable Car entrance at 109 Mount Faber Rd on your right.
MRT and Bus
From Bukit Timah, make your way to the nearest MRT station, which is the Botanic Gardens MRT Station. Take the Downtown Line towards the Expo MRT Station and get off at the 6th stop, which is the Bugis MRT Station. Transfer to the East West Line towards Pasir Ris and alight at Outram Park MRT Station. From Outram Park, take bus number 145 from the bus stop outside the station. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Henderson Road' stop. Walk 10 minutes along Mount Faber Road to reach the Singapore Cable Car at 109 Mount Faber Rd.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route through the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. Start at the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve entrance and follow the trails towards the Bukit Timah Summit. After enjoying the views, make your way down towards Upper Bukit Timah Road. From there, head towards the main road and walk along Upper Bukit Timah Road until you reach the junction with Henderson Road. Turn left onto Henderson Road, which will lead you to Mount Faber Road. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the Singapore Cable Car at 109 Mount Faber Rd.
