Walking
If you are starting from Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, exit the reserve and head towards Upper Bukit Timah Road. Walk along Upper Bukit Timah Road in the direction of Beauty World MRT Station. Once you reach Beauty World MRT Station, continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Jalan Jurong Kechil. Turn left onto Jalan Jurong Kechil and follow it until you reach Upper Bukit Timah Road. Cross the road and continue to walk straight until you see the entrance to the Singapore Botanic Gardens on your right. Enter the gardens and follow the signs to the Ginger Garden.

From Bukit Timah, walk to the nearest bus stop along Bukit Timah Road. Take bus number 66 or 170, which will take you towards the direction of the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Get off at the bus stop named 'Cluny Park' (Bus Stop ID: 44299). From there, walk along Cluny Road until you reach the entrance to the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Follow the signs to the Ginger Garden.
