Walking
From the Chinatown MRT Station, exit the station and head towards Pagoda Street. Walk straight until you reach the junction with Smith Street. Turn left onto Smith Street and continue walking until you reach the junction with Trengganu Street. Turn right onto Trengganu Street and continue until you reach the junction with Upper Cross Street. Here, you will find the Chinatown Food Street. From there, walk straight to the junction with Eu Tong Sen Street and continue heading towards Clarke Quay. After walking for about 15 minutes, you will reach the Singapore River. Follow the river eastwards until you reach the Fort Canning Park area. Keep walking along the riverside, and you will eventually arrive at the East Coast Park Service Road.

From Chinatown, walk to the nearest bus stop at Queen Street Terminal. Take Bus 196 towards Bedok Central. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes and get off at the Bedok Jetty bus stop. From there, walk towards the East Coast Park Service Road, which is just a short 5-minute walk away.
