Getting There

  • Walking

    From Chinatown Heritage Centre (located at 48 Pagoda Street), head east on Pagoda Street towards Temple Street. Turn left onto Temple Street and continue until you reach South Bridge Road. Cross over to the opposite side of the road. Walk straight along South Bridge Road until you reach the intersection with New Bridge Road. Take a right onto New Bridge Road and continue walking until you reach the Chinatown MRT Station. From there, take the Downtown Line towards Expo and alight at the Bedok MRT Station. Once you exit the station, take Exit A and head towards the bus stop nearby. From there, take Bus 36 towards Marine Parade and get off at the Marine Parade bus stop. Walk towards Katong, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

    Begin at Chinatown MRT Station (NE4). Take the North East Line towards Punggol and alight at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station (NE6/CC1/NS24). Transfer to the Circle Line and take the train towards HarbourFront. Alight at the next stop, which is Bras Basah MRT Station (CC2). Exit the station and walk towards the bus stop outside the station. Board Bus 14 or Bus 196 towards Marine Parade. Get off at the Katong bus stop. From there, it's a short walk to explore the Katong area.
