Discovering the Rich Heritage at Fuk Tak Chi Museum

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are already in the Telok Ayer area, you can easily walk to Fuk Tak Chi Museum. Start at the intersection of Telok Ayer Street and Amoy Street. Head south on Telok Ayer Street for about 150 meters. You will see Fuk Tak Chi Museum at 76 Telok Ayer St, which is located on your left side. The museum is right next to the iconic Thian Hock Keng Temple, so it’s hard to miss.

• Public Bus

  If you're further from the museum and prefer using public transport, you can take a bus. Look for bus stops near you that service routes 2, 12, 33, 54, or 139. Board any of these buses and alight at the 'Amoy Street' bus stop. From there, walk about 200 meters down to Telok Ayer Street, and you will see the museum on your left at 76 Telok Ayer St. The bus fare typically ranges from SGD 1.00 to SGD 2.00 depending on the distance.

• MRT

  For those using the MRT, you can take the Downtown Line and alight at Telok Ayer MRT Station (DT18). Exit the station and head towards street level. Once you are out, turn right onto Telok Ayer Street and walk straight for about 300 meters. You will pass several shops and restaurants before reaching Fuk Tak Chi Museum at 76 Telok Ayer St, which will be on your right. The MRT fare will vary based on the distance but generally costs between SGD 0.80 and SGD 2.00.
