    From Clarke Quay MRT Station, exit the station and head towards the river. Walk along the riverside towards the Clarke Quay Central Mall. Keep walking past the mall until you reach the end of the quay where you can see the colorful shophouses. Continue walking straight, and you will arrive at the intersection of River Valley Road and Emerald Hill Road. Cross the road, and you will find yourself in Emerald Hill, known for its historic Peranakan architecture.
