Start at the East Coast Park main entrance. Head towards the East Coast Parkway Expressway. Walk straight until you reach the Park Connector Network path. Follow the path along the coastline, enjoying the scenic view. Continue walking until you reach the junction where the path leads to the underpass. Take the underpass that leads to the Marina Bay area. After exiting the underpass, continue straight until you reach the Clarke Quay area. You can spot the Read Bridge from the riverside walk.

If you have a bicycle, start at the East Coast Park main entrance and ride towards the East Coast Parkway Expressway. Follow the designated bike paths along the Park Connector Network. As you ride, keep following the path that leads towards Marina Bay. Look for signs directing you to Clarke Quay. Once you reach Clarke Quay, park your bicycle at one of the many bike racks available nearby. The Read Bridge is easily visible once you arrive in the area.

From East Coast Park, walk to the nearest bus stop. Take bus service number 197 or 36, which will take you towards the nearest MRT station, which is Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station. Once you arrive at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station, transfer to the North-South Line (Red Line) and head towards Marina South Pier. Get down at Clarke Quay MRT Station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs that lead to Clarke Quay, and you will see the Read Bridge right by the riverside.
