Walking
Starting from the East Coast Park Service Centre, head southeast along the park's main path. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach the East Coast Parkway (ECP) expressway. Look for the pedestrian bridge that crosses over the ECP. Take the bridge and cross over to the other side. Once you are across, head left and follow the path towards the park exit. You will see signage directing you towards the city. Continue walking for another 1 km until you reach the bus stop at the East Coast Park exit.

From the bus stop at the East Coast Park exit, board Bus 36 or 43. The bus will take you towards the central area of Singapore. Stay on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station.' After disembarking, follow the signs for the MRT station.

At Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station, take the North-South Line (Red Line) and head towards Marina South Pier. Get off at the next station 'City Hall.' Once you exit the MRT, follow the signs to the exit towards St. Andrew's Cathedral. After exiting, walk towards the direction of Fort Canning Park, which is about a 10-minute walk.

As you walk towards Fort Canning Park, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to the Battle Box Escape Shaft. The Battle Box is located in the vicinity of Fort Canning Hill. Once you reach Fort Canning Park, you will see signs that will guide you to the entrance of the Battle Box Escape Shaft, which is a historical landmark.
