Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Kallang, start by heading west on Kallang Road towards the Central Expressway (CTE). Merge onto the CTE and continue for about 5 km. Take Exit 17A towards River Valley Road. After exiting, follow the road signs to River Valley Road. Fort Canning Park will be on your left. There is parking available near the park entrance, but be aware that parking fees apply, typically around SGD 1.50 per hour.

• Public Transportation - MRT

  For those using the MRT, head to the nearest MRT station in Kallang, which is Kallang MRT Station on the East West Line. Board the train in the direction of Pasir Ris and alight at the fifth stop, Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station. From Dhoby Ghaut, transfer to the North South Line and take the train towards Marina South Pier. Alight at the very next stop, Somerset MRT Station. Exit the station and walk along Orchard Road towards River Valley Road. Continue walking until you reach Fort Canning Park, which should take around 15-20 minutes.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  Alternatively, you can take a bus from Kallang. Look for bus services such as 21, 65, or 75 that head towards River Valley. Board the bus and alight at the stop called 'Fort Canning Park'. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Note that bus fares vary depending on the distance traveled, so prepare to pay using an EZ-Link card or cash.
