Car
If you are driving from Kallang, set your GPS to 20 Merchant Rd, Singapore 058281. Start by heading southwest on Kallang Road towards the exit for the Central Expressway (CTE). Merge onto the CTE and continue toward the exit for Orchard Road. Follow signs to the Central Area. Take the exit towards River Valley Road and continue straight. Turn left onto Merchant Road, and you will find Singapore River on your right. Parking facilities are available nearby, and rates may vary, so check local signage for information.
Public Transportation - MRT
To reach Singapore River via MRT from Kallang, head to Kallang MRT Station (EW10) on the East West Line. Take the train towards Pasir Ris and transfer at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station (NE6/CC1/EW7). From Dhoby Ghaut, take the North South Line towards Marina South Pier. Alight at Clarke Quay MRT Station (NE5). Once you exit the station, follow the signs to Clarke Quay. Walk along the riverside promenade, which should take about 10-15 minutes to reach Singapore River at 20 Merchant Rd.
Public Transportation - Bus
If you prefer to take the bus, look for bus stops near your location in Kallang. You can catch Bus 21, 53, or 80, which goes toward the Central Area. Ensure you alight at the nearest stop to Clarke Quay or Merchant Road. From there, it's a short walk to Singapore River. Check the local bus schedule for exact timings and routes.
