Car
If you're driving, navigate to MacRitchie Reservoir Park. Once you enter the park, look for the main car park area. Park your car there, as it will be the closest point to begin your journey to Costus Trail. After parking, head towards the MacRitchie Reservoir trail entrance, which is well-marked. Follow the signs for the trails, and you will eventually reach the Costus Trail, which is located near Lower Peirce. The total distance from the car park to Costus Trail is approximately 1.5 km, and it should take around 20-30 minutes to walk.
Public Transportation
To reach MacRitchie Reservoir by public transport, take the MRT to Marymount Station (Circle Line). From Marymount Station, exit and take bus number 52 or 162, and alight at the bus stop near the entrance of MacRitchie Reservoir Park. Once you enter the park, proceed to the main car park area. From there, follow the signs to the MacRitchie Reservoir trail entrance. Walk towards the Costus Trail, which is around 1.5 km from the car park. The total journey is likely to take approximately 45 minutes to an hour depending on bus waiting times and your walking pace.
