    If you are already at MacRitchie Reservoir, head towards the main entrance of the park. Once you reach the entrance, follow the signs leading to the MacRitchie Nature Trail. Continue on the trail until you reach a junction. At the junction, take the path that leads to the Petai Trail. The trail is well-marked, and you will soon be surrounded by beautiful greenery and wildlife. The total walking distance from the entrance to the Petai Trail is approximately 1.5 kilometers, and it should take around 20-30 minutes.

    Public Transportation

    To reach MacRitchie Reservoir using public transportation, take the MRT to the nearest station, which is the Marymount MRT Station (Circle Line). From there, exit the station and take Bus 410 from the bus stop nearby. Alight at the bus stop 'MacRitchie Reservoir Entrance.' Once you arrive, follow the walking instructions above to reach the Petai Trail. The bus fare is approximately SGD 1.50, and the MRT fare is around SGD 1.50 as well.

    If you are driving, head towards the MacRitchie Reservoir. Use GPS to navigate to the address: 104 Taman Permata, Singapore 575227. There is parking available near the reservoir entrance. Once you park, follow the walking instructions from the entry point to reach the MacRitchie Petai Trail. Be aware that parking fees may apply, which is typically around SGD 0.60 per hour.
