From Pasir Ris MRT Station, take the East West Line (EWL) towards Pasir Ris MRT (EW1). Alight at Bugis MRT Station (EW12/DT14). Transfer to the Downtown Line (DTL) and head towards Bukit Panjang. Alight at Little India MRT Station (DT12). From Little India, exit the station and head southwest on Serangoon Road towards Kerbau Road. Turn left onto Kerbau Road, and you will find the Former House of Tan Teng Niah at 37 Kerbau Rd, Singapore 219168. The total travel time is approximately 1 hour and the fare is around SGD 2.00.

If you are driving from Pasir Ris, take the TPE (Tampines Expressway) towards the SLE (Seletar Expressway). Continue on the SLE and merge onto the CTE (Central Expressway) towards the city. Take Exit 9 onto Bukit Timah Road, then turn left onto Dunlop Street. Continue straight and turn right onto Kerbau Road. The Former House of Tan Teng Niah will be on your left at 37 Kerbau Rd, Singapore 219168. Expect the journey to take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
