Public Transportation
To reach Bukit Rama-Rama in Pulau Ubin, start your journey from the nearest MRT station, Tanah Merah MRT Station (EW4). From there, take bus number 2 to the Changi Point Ferry Terminal. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Changi Point Ferry Terminal, purchase a ticket for the bumboat to Pulau Ubin. The bumboat ride takes about 10-15 minutes and costs around SGD 3 per person. Upon arriving at Pulau Ubin, follow the main path leading from the jetty until you reach the first intersection. Turn left and continue straight until you see signage directing you towards Bukit Rama-Rama. The walk from the jetty to Bukit Rama-Rama will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer a faster option, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops near the jetty once you arrive at Pulau Ubin. Bicycle rentals typically cost around SGD 8-15 for a full day. After renting your bike, head out from the jetty and take the main road. Follow the signs for Bukit Rama-Rama, which is approximately a 15-20 minute bike ride from the jetty. The route is mostly flat and easy to navigate.
Walking
If you enjoy walking and want to take in the sights, you can walk to Bukit Rama-Rama from the jetty. Upon disembarking from the bumboat, follow the main path, and at the first intersection, turn left. Continue on this path, which is well-marked and leads through the lush greenery of Pulau Ubin. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as there are limited facilities along the way.
