Sri Mariamman Temple: A Spiritual Oasis in the Heart of Chinatown

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are at the Beach Station or Sentosa Express Station, start by heading towards the Sentosa Gateway and make your way towards the Merlion. From the Merlion, continue walking along the path that leads to the Imbiah Lookout. Once you reach Imbiah Lookout, take the Sentosa Express to the Waterfront Station. After getting off at the Waterfront Station, follow the signs leading to the Sentosa Boardwalk. After exiting the Boardwalk, you will find yourself at the VivoCity Mall. From there, take the MRT to Chinatown Station on the North East Line. Once you arrive at Chinatown, take Exit A to reach Pagoda Street, and then walk towards South Bridge Road where you will find the Sri Mariamman Temple at 244 South Bridge Rd.

• Public Bus

  From any location in Sentosa, first make your way to the nearest bus stop that services the Beach Tram or the Sentosa Bus. Board the bus and travel to the nearest MRT station which is HarbourFront MRT Station. Once you arrive at HarbourFront, switch to the North East Line and take the train to Chinatown Station. Upon arrival at Chinatown, take Exit A, which will lead you to Pagoda Street. Walk along Pagoda Street until you reach South Bridge Road, where you will find the Sri Mariamman Temple located at 244 South Bridge Rd.

• Sentosa Express

  To reach the Sri Mariamman Temple via the Sentosa Express, board the train at any of the stations within Sentosa. Travel to the Waterfront Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and head towards the Boardwalk leading to VivoCity. Upon reaching VivoCity, take the MRT from HarbourFront Station on the North East Line to Chinatown Station. Exit at Chinatown and follow the signs to Exit A. Once you are outside, walk along Pagoda Street until you reach South Bridge Road, where the Sri Mariamman Temple is located at 244 South Bridge Rd.
