Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Serangoon. Head south on Upper Serangoon Road. Continue straight to merge onto the Central Expressway (CTE) towards the city. After about 10 km, take Exit 16B for Victoria Street. Continue on Victoria Street, and turn left onto Connaught Drive. The Singapore Cenotaph will be on your left. Parking is available nearby, but it may incur fees depending on the time of day.
Public Transportation
Take the MRT from Serangoon MRT Station (NE12). Board the North East Line heading towards HarbourFront. Change at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station (NE6/CC1/NS24) and transfer to the North-South Line (Red) towards Marina South Pier. Get off at City Hall MRT Station (NS25/EW13). Exit the station and walk towards Connaught Drive. The Singapore Cenotaph is about a 10-minute walk from the MRT station. The total journey will take around 40 minutes.
Bus
For bus travelers, head to the nearest bus stop in Serangoon. Take bus number 88 towards Marina South Terminal. Alight at the bus stop at Raffles Hotel. From there, walk towards Connaught Drive, which is about a 10-minute walk. The total journey may take about 50 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to have your EZ-Link card ready for bus fare payment.
