Car
If you're traveling by car from the West Region, start your journey by heading towards the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE). Follow signs for the AYE and merge onto it. Continue on the AYE until you reach the exit for the Central Business District (CBD). Use the left two lanes to take the exit toward Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE). Stay on MCE and follow signs for Raffles Avenue. Once you reach Raffles Avenue, look for parking options in the Marina Bay area, where there are several parking lots available. The Merlion is located near the waterfront, and you can walk to it from any of the nearby parking facilities.
Public Transportation - MRT
To reach the Merlion via public transport, head to the nearest MRT station in the West Region, such as Jurong East MRT Station. Take the East West Line (EWL) towards Pasir Ris. At the Tanah Merah MRT Station, transfer to the Downtown Line (DTL) and head towards Bukit Panjang. Alight at the Bayfront MRT Station. From Bayfront MRT Station, take Exit B, which will lead you to the Marina Bay area. Follow the signs towards the Marina Bay waterfront, and you will find the Merlion within a short walking distance.
Public Transportation - Bus
If you prefer to take the bus, you can board a bus from any bus stop in the West Region that heads towards the Central Area. Look for bus services such as 75, 97, or 106 that travel towards the Marina Bay area. Alight at the bus stop closest to the Marina Bay Sands. From there, it is a pleasant 10-15 minute walk to the Merlion, where you can enjoy the views of the waterfront along the way.
