Bus
From Yishun MRT Station, head to the bus interchange located right next to the station. Take Bus 812 towards Yishun Ring Road. Alight at the stop named 'Yishun Ave 1 - Blk 210'. From there, walk to the bus stop on the opposite side of the road and catch Bus 169 towards Yishun Industrial Park. Alight at 'Khatib MRT Station'. From Khatib MRT Station, take the MRT towards Marina Bay and transfer at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station to the North-South Line towards Johor Bahru. Alight at Woodlands MRT Station. After that, you will need to take a bus to the Johor Bahru checkpoint and cross the border. Once in Johor Bahru, take Bus 1 or Bus 10 towards the city center and alight at the stop nearest to Jalan Trus. The Johor Ancient Temple is a short walk from there.

From Yishun MRT Station, board the North-South Line towards Marina South Pier. Travel to Kranji MRT Station and alight. From Kranji MRT Station, take Bus 170 towards Larkin Terminal in Johor Bahru. After crossing the border at the checkpoint, continue on the bus until you reach the stop near Jalan Trus. Once you get off, walk towards Lot 653, Jalan Trus, and you will find the Johor Ancient Temple nearby.
