Walking
Start in Cole Bay at the popular shopping area near the Cole Bay Hill. Head east on Welfare Road towards Simpson Bay. Continue walking straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and local eateries on your way. As you approach the intersection with Bush Road, keep going straight, and you will start to see signs for Upper Prince's Quarter. After another 500 meters, look for the St. Maarten Sign on your right at the location 2X76+C35, which is a popular photo spot.
Public Bus
From any point in Cole Bay, make your way to the nearest bus stop along Welfare Road. Once at the bus stop, board a bus heading towards Simpson Bay or Philipsburg. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Upper Prince's Quarter. The driver will let you know when you arrive at the stop closest to the St. Maarten Sign. After disembarking, walk about 200 meters towards the direction of the sign, and you will find the St. Maarten Sign located at 2X76+C35.
Bicycle
If you're renting a bicycle, start from the center of Cole Bay and head east towards Welfare Road. Follow Welfare Road for about 1.5 kilometers, enjoying the view of the surroundings. As you approach the intersection with Bush Road, continue straight and keep an eye out for the St. Maarten Sign on your right, located at 2X76+C35. There's usually space nearby to park your bicycle securely.
