Car
If you are driving from anywhere in Cul de Sac, first locate the main road, Route 10. Head west towards Philipsburg, and keep an eye out for the signs leading to Fort Amsterdam. After about 10-15 minutes of driving, you will see signs indicating 'Fort Amsterdam' on your left. Turn onto the access road where you will find parking available nearby. Note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around $5.
Public Transportation
To reach Fort Amsterdam using public transportation, look for the local bus service that operates in Cul de Sac. You can catch a bus that goes towards Philipsburg. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Fort Amsterdam, which is typically at Little Bay Beach. From there, it's a short 10-15 minute walk to the fort. Follow the signs towards the fort, and be prepared for some uphill walking as you approach the historical site.
Walking
If you are already near Fort Amsterdam, you can simply walk to the site. Look for the main road leading to Little Bay. The fort is located on a slight elevation, so be prepared for a bit of a climb.
