Getting There

• Car

  To reach Cyrus Wathey Square by car from any location in Dutch Quarter, start by heading southwest on the A.P. Smith Boulevard. Continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the Walter Nisbeth Road (also known as Front Street). Follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer, passing by various shops and local attractions. Keep an eye out for the square on your right. There is typically street parking available around the square, but be prepared for potential parking fees depending on the area.

• Public Transportation

  If using public transportation, you can catch a local bus or minivan (often referred to as 'bus') from various points in Dutch Quarter. Look for buses heading towards Philipsburg, which is the capital of Sint Maarten. The fare is usually around $1 to $2 USD per person. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Front Street or near Cyrus Wathey Square. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.   If you prefer to walk and are staying near the southern end of Dutch Quarter, you can reach Cyrus Wathey Square on foot. Start by heading towards the A.P. Smith Boulevard. After about a 15-20 minute walk (approximately 1.5 kilometers), you will reach the roundabout. From there, continue straight onto Walter Nisbeth Road. The square will be visible as you approach the waterfront area. This is a great way to enjoy the local scenery along the way!
