If you're driving from Guana Bay to Maho Beach, start by heading west on Guana Bay Road. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route 1 (also known as the Airport Road). Follow Route 1 for approximately 5 kilometers. You will pass the Princess Juliana International Airport on your left. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Maho Beach. After about 1 kilometer past the airport, turn left onto Beacon Hill Road, which will lead you directly to the beach parking area. Note that parking may incur a fee, usually around $5 for the day.
Public Transportation
To reach Maho Beach using public transportation, first locate the nearest bus stop in Guana Bay. You can take a local bus heading towards Philipsburg, which will include Maho Beach in its route. Make sure to confirm with the driver that the bus goes to Maho Beach. The fare for the bus is typically around $1.50 per person. Once you get on the bus, stay alert for your stop; it should take about 15-20 minutes to reach Maho Beach. After disembarking, follow the signs to the beach, which is just a short walk away.
