If you are driving from Banská Bystrica, take the R1 highway towards Zvolen/Trebišov. After about 30 km, follow the signs to Banská Štiavnica and take the exit onto the 75 road. Continue on this road until you reach Banská Štiavnica. Once in the city, follow the signs to the Slovak Mining Museum located at Jozefa Karola Hella 12. There is parking available nearby.
