    From Banská Bystrica, head to the main bus station (Autobusová stanica Banská Bystrica) located at Špitálska 2. Purchase a ticket to Banská Štiavnica; buses run frequently throughout the day. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Banská Štiavnica bus station, exit the station and head straight down the main road (Cintorínska) until you reach the intersection with Radničné námestie. Turn right onto Radničné námestie and continue for about 500 meters. The Banská Štiavnica Nativity scene is located at Radničné námestie 11/20, on your left.

  • Walking from the Bus Station

    If you are already in Banská Bystrica and at the bus station, exit and walk straight down Cintorínska street. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the main square (Námestie SNP). From there, you can either take a bus or continue walking. If you walk, head towards the historical part of Banská Štiavnica, following the signs for the center. Once you reach the area, follow the directions above to Radničné námestie.
