From the center of Banská Bystrica, walk to the 'Mestský úrad' bus stop. Take bus number 29 towards Ružomberok. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive in Ružomberok, get off at the 'Ružomberok, žel. st.' stop. From there, transfer to bus number 11 towards 'Vlkolínec'. The bus will take you directly to Vlkolínec in about 15 minutes.

Head to the Banská Bystrica train station, located in the city center. Board a train heading towards Ružomberok. The train ride lasts around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ružomberok train station, exit and follow the same instructions as the bus route: take bus number 11 towards 'Vlkolínec'. This bus will take you directly to your destination in about 15 minutes.
