Public Transport

From the center of Bratislava, head to the 'Hlavná stanica' train station. You can take tram line 1, 3, or 5 to get there. Once at 'Hlavná stanica', purchase a ticket for a train to 'Hainburg an der Donau'. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Hainburg an der Donau' station, exit the station and walk towards the town center. Follow the signs towards 'Schlossberg' or use a map app to navigate. The Hainburg Ruins are located at 'Schlossbergstraße, 2410 Hainburg an der Donau', which is about a 20-minute walk uphill from the station.
Bus

From 'Hlavná stanica', you can also take a bus to Hainburg. Look for bus line 801 at the bus terminal located next to the train station. This bus will take you directly to Hainburg. Once you arrive at the Hainburg bus stop, head towards the center and follow the signs to 'Schlossberg'. It is a pleasant walk of about 20-25 minutes to reach the Hainburg Ruins.
Walking / Cycling
