Public Transport
From Bratislava city center, head to the main bus station, 'Autobusová stanica Mlynské Nivy'. You can take tram number 1 or 5 to get there. Once at the bus station, look for buses heading to 'Smolenice'. The ride will take approximately 1 hour. After arriving in Smolenice, walk towards 'Zámocká street' and follow the signs or ask locals for directions to 'Smolenický castle', which is located at Zámocká 18.
Train
Make your way to 'Bratislava Hlavná Stanica', the main train station. You can take tram number 1 or bus number 50 from the city center to get there. Once at the station, look for trains heading to 'Trnava'. Upon arrival in Trnava, transfer to a local bus or taxi that goes to Smolenice. The castle is about 10 minutes from the bus stop in Smolenice, located at Zámocká 18.

If you are nearby Smolenice, simply walk to Zámocká street. The castle is well-signposted, and locals are friendly and willing to help with directions if needed. The walk offers beautiful views of the surrounding nature.
