Walking
From the main entrance of Bratislava Castle, head towards the castle courtyard. Once inside the courtyard, walk straight ahead towards the castle's southern entrance. As you exit the courtyard, you will see a pathway that leads down towards the Great Moravian Basilica's remains. Follow the path, which winds slightly downhill, and keep an eye out for informational signs that may guide you further. The basilica remains are located at the foot of the castle hill, just a short 5-minute walk from the castle's main area.

Walking
If you're coming from the upper castle gardens, locate the stairs that lead down towards the lower levels of the castle complex. Once you reach the bottom, turn left and follow the pathway that leads along the castle walls. You will soon come across the remains of the Great Moravian Basilica. This walk takes approximately 7 minutes and provides a scenic view of the area.
