From the main entrance of Bratislava Castle, head towards the castle courtyard. Continue straight through the courtyard, and as you exit the castle grounds, you will find yourself facing a path leading downhill. Follow this path down towards the city. As you descend, you’ll notice the stunning views of the city below. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Karpatká Street. Turn right onto Karpatká Street and continue walking for about 200 meters. You will see the Vienna Gate straight ahead, marked by its distinctive architecture.

Another option is to exit the castle area through the main entrance and turn left onto the pedestrian path that leads around the castle. Follow the path which winds along the castle wall until you reach the end of the wall. There, you will find a small staircase. Go down the staircase and turn right. Continue walking until you reach the main road, where you can turn left and walk directly to Vienna Gate, which will be visible ahead.
