Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Bratislava Main Train Station (Hlavná stanica), exit the station and head south on Karadžičova street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Mlynské nivy. Turn left onto Mlynské nivy and walk until you reach the bus stop called 'Národná banka'. From there, follow the signs to the city center. You will walk through a park and continue straight until you reach the pedestrian zone. You will see the 'Hlavné námestie' signs; continue straight and you will arrive at Main Square.

  • Tram

    If you are near the city center, you can take tram line 1 or 3. Board the tram at any stop along the route and get off at 'Zochova' stop. After exiting the tram, walk straight towards the pedestrian zone, following the signs to 'Hlavné námestie'. You will reach the square in a few minutes.

  • Bus

    From the bus station at AS Mlynské nivy, take bus number 210. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Hlavné námestie' stop. Once you exit the bus, you will be right at the Main Square.

  • Walking from the Old Town

    If you are already in the Old Town area, you can easily walk to Main Square. From the St. Michael's Gate, head towards the street called 'Panská'. Continue straight until you reach the 'Hlavné námestie'. It's just a 5-minute walk from the gate.
