Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Main Square (Hlavné námestie), head south towards the corner of the square where you can see the statue of the old city fountain. From there, walk down the pedestrian street, Panská Ulica, which will lead you into the heart of the Old Town. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Michalská Ulica. Turn left onto Michalská Ulica, and you will see Michael's Gate on your right at number 22.

  • Public Transport (Tram)

    If you are near the Presidential Palace, take tram line 4 or 5 from the 'Palace' tram stop. Get off at the 'Zochova' stop. From there, walk towards the Old Town, crossing Karpat'ská street until you reach the pedestrian zone. Continue walking straight until you arrive at Michalská Ulica. Turn right onto Michalská Ulica, and Michael's Gate will be on your left at number 22.
