From Petržalka, head to the nearest tram stop, which is likely to be 'Petržalka, most Františka Jozefa'. Take tram number 1 in the direction of 'Hlavná stanica'. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Karpaty' tram stop. From there, you will need to walk for approximately 15 minutes to reach the Great Moravian Basilica at Bratislava Castle. Head towards the castle, following the signs to 'Hrad'.

If you prefer to walk, from the center of Petržalka, you can head north towards the riverbank. Follow the river path which is scenic and leads directly towards the city center. The walk takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach the Old Town area, follow the signs to Bratislava Castle, which is on a hill and visible from a distance.

You can also take bus number 93 from 'Petržalka, Námestie 1. mája' bus stop. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at 'Hrad'. You will be just a short walk away from the Great Moravian Basilica at Bratislava Castle. This option may incur a small fare (around €0.90) for a single ticket.
