  • Car

    From Horná Nitra, take the D1 highway towards Zvolen. Follow the signs for Zvolen and continue on the D1 for approximately 50 kilometers. Take the exit toward Zvolen and merge onto the E58 road. Continue straight until you reach Námestie SNP, where Zvolen Castle is located at Námestie SNP 1. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a small fee depending on the location.

  • Public Transportation

    From Horná Nitra, take a regional train or bus to Zvolen. The train station is located at the center of Horná Nitra. Check the local schedules for trains or buses heading to Zvolen. The journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the service. Once you arrive at Zvolen train or bus station, you can walk to Zvolen Castle by heading north on Námestie SNP, which is approximately a 15-minute walk.

  • Walking

    If you are already in Zvolen, from the train station or bus stop, exit towards the main road. Head north on Hrnčiarska street until you reach the intersection with Námestie SNP. Turn left and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. Zvolen Castle will be on your right at Námestie SNP 1. The walk should take around 15-20 minutes.
