Getting there

Car

From Košice, take the E571 road heading west. Continue on E571 for approximately 60 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Dlhá Ves. Follow the signs for Dlhá Ves and continue straight until you arrive in the village. Once in Dlhá Ves, look for signs directing you to Domica Cave. There is a designated parking area near the entrance. Note that parking may incur a small fee.

Public Transportation

From Košice, take a train to the town of Dlhá Ves. Trains depart regularly from the Košice train station. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Dlhá Ves, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or take a local taxi to reach the Domica Cave entrance. Be sure to check the train schedules ahead of time, as they may vary, especially on weekends.

Taxi

If you prefer not to drive or take public transportation, consider booking a taxi from Košice directly to Domica Cave. This option is more comfortable and can take around 1 hour, depending on traffic. Ensure to agree on the fare beforehand, as taxis may not use a meter for long distances.
