If you're driving from Košice, take the E571 highway towards Prešov. After about 10 kilometers, take the exit to Košická Belá. Follow the road through the village and continue towards Malá Lodina. Once you reach Malá Lodina, look for signs leading to Sivec. There is a small parking area near the trailhead, but be sure to arrive early as it can fill up quickly on weekends.

From the Košice main train station, take a train towards Prešov. You will need to get off at the Košická Belá stop. From there, you can either walk (about 3 km) or take a local taxi to Malá Lodina. The walk will take you through scenic countryside, and once in Malá Lodina, follow the signs to Sivec. Make sure to check the train schedule in advance for the best departure times.
