Car
If you are driving from Košice, take the R4 expressway towards Prešov. Continue on the R4 for about 10 km, then take the exit towards Turňa nad Bodvou (Exit 6). After exiting, follow the signs toward Turňa nad Bodvou. Once you reach the village, follow the local roads until you see signs for Turňa Castle. There is a small parking area near the castle entrance. Note that parking may incur a fee.

Public Transportation
To reach Turňa Castle using public transport, take a train from Košice main train station to the town of Turňa nad Bodvou. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Turňa nad Bodvou train station, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or take a taxi to the castle. There may be limited taxi services, so it’s advisable to call ahead or arrange for one in advance.

If you choose to walk from the Turňa nad Bodvou train station to Turňa Castle, exit the station and head southwest on Hlavná Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the road leading up to the castle. Follow the signs for Turňa Castle, which will guide you along a scenic route up the hill. The walk takes about 30 minutes, and you will enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
