The Enchanting Historical Musical Gazebo in Košice

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the main square (Hlavné námestie) in Košice, face the eastern side of the square where the famous St. Elisabeth Cathedral is located. From the cathedral, walk straight down the street (Hlavná ulica) until you reach the intersection with the street Špitálska. Turn right onto Špitálska and continue straight until you reach the end of the road. At the end, turn left onto the road leading to the city park (Mestský park). Continue walking straight across the small bridge until you enter the park. The Historical musical gazebo is located in the center of the park. You can easily spot it, as it is a prominent structure surrounded by beautiful green areas.

• Public Transport

  If you prefer to take public transport, head to the nearest tram stop, which is located at Hlavné námestie. Take tram line 4 or 5 in the direction of 'Národný ústav srdcových a cievnych chorôb'. Get off at the stop 'Mestský park'. From the tram stop, walk towards the park entrance, which is just a short distance away. Once you enter the park, the Historical musical gazebo is situated in the central area of the park.

• Biking

  For those who enjoy biking, you can rent a bike at one of the local rental services near Hlavné námestie. Once you have your bike, head east towards the park. Follow the bike paths leading towards the city park (Mestský park) entrance. Once inside the park, make your way towards the center where you will find the Historical musical gazebo. It’s a lovely ride through the greenery of the park.
