Car
If you are driving, head towards the village of Važec. From Liptovský Mikuláš, take the Route 18 towards the west and follow the signs for Važec. After approximately 15 km, you will arrive in the village. The cave is well-marked with signs. You can park nearby the cave entrance, but please note that there might be a parking fee, usually around €2-€3 for the day.

To reach Važecká cave via public transport, take a bus from Liptovský Mikuláš to Važec. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Check the local bus schedules as they may vary. Upon arriving in Važec, follow the signs to the cave which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Keep in mind that there might be a small entrance fee for the cave tours, typically around €5.
