Car
From Mala Fatra National Park, take the main road (E50) towards Žilina. Follow signs for the town of Martin. Once in Martin, continue on the E50 towards the town of Ružomberok. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit for the D1 motorway towards Prešov. Continue on the D1 and take the exit for the Veľká Fatra National Park area. Follow the signs to the main visitor centers of the park. Note that parking fees may apply in designated areas.

From any location in Mala Fatra National Park, take a bus or train towards the town of Martin. Once in Martin, transfer to a bus heading toward Ružomberok. Verify the bus schedule as services may vary. Upon arrival in Ružomberok, catch a local bus that goes directly to Veľká Fatra National Park visitor center. Ensure to check the latest schedules and routes, as they can change frequently. A small fare will be required for the bus, typically around €1-2.
