Upon arrival at Lietava train station, exit and head southeast on the main road (Hlavná ulica) for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to Castle Lietava.

From the center of Martin, make your way to the bus station (Autobusová stanica Martin). Buses to Lietava may not be direct, so look for a bus that heads toward the nearby town of Žilina or another connecting bus that stops in Lietava. The ride usually takes about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic and connections. After arriving in Lietava, follow local signs towards the castle, which is located about 1 kilometer north from the bus stop.

Follow the road towards the outskirts of the town where you'll find local paths leading towards Lietava. The walk is approximately 8 kilometers and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
