From the center of Martin, walk to the nearest bus station, which is 'Autobusová stanica Martin'. Take bus number 22 or 23 in the direction of 'Sklabinský Podzámok'. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Sklabinský Podzámok' stop. From the bus stop, walk up the hill for about 10 minutes until you reach Castle Sklabiňa.

If you prefer to walk, start from the main square in Martin (Hlavné námestie) and head northwest on Karadžičova street. Continue straight for about 3 km until you reach the outskirts of Martin. Follow the signs for 'Sklabinský Podzámok'. The walk will take roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on your pace. The castle will be visible on your right as you approach.

For a more active approach, rent a bicycle in Martin. Head towards the cycling path that runs along the river. Follow the path leading out of Martin heading towards the village of Sklabinský Podzámok. The cycling distance is approximately 5 km and will take around 20-30 minutes. Once you reach Sklabinský Podzámok, follow the signs to Castle Sklabiňa.
