From Martin, head to the main bus station (Autobusová stanica Martin). Take a bus to Dolný Kubín, which is regularly scheduled. The bus ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival in Dolný Kubín, you'll need to transfer to another bus heading towards Oravský Podzámok. Look for a bus labeled Oravský Podzámok or check the schedule for local buses. This leg of the journey will take an additional 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Oravský Podzámok stop, the castle is a short 15-minute walk uphill.

Start at the Martin railway station (Železničná stanica Martin). Take a train to the nearest train station, which is in Ružomberok. The train journey will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving in Ružomberok, exit the station and head to the bus stop outside the train station. Look for a bus that goes to Oravský Podzámok. The bus ride will take around 30-40 minutes. Once you disembark at the Oravský Podzámok stop, walk uphill for about 15 minutes to reach the castle.
