From the center of Novohrad, head southwest on the main road (Route 1). Continue on Route 1 for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the town of Fiľakovo. Once in Fiľakovo, look for signs directing you to the castle. Turn onto Baštová Street, where the castle is located at number 18. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that there may be a small fee for parking.

To reach Fiľakovo Castle via public transportation, take a train or bus from Novohrad to Fiľakovo. Train services are available from the main train station in Novohrad.
