From Salgótarján city center, head to the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 5 towards Somoskő. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Somoskő Vadaspark' bus stop, which is right outside the entrance to the park.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from Salgótarján city center, start at the main square (Fő tér) and head northwest along Wesselényi utca. Continue straight for about 2.5 kilometers. You will pass through a residential area and some local shops. The Somoskői Vadaspark will be on your right, shortly after crossing the bridge over the creek.
Bicycle
For a more active option, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Salgótarján. Start from the city center and cycle along Wesselényi utca towards Somoskő. The distance is about 2.5 kilometers and is mostly flat, making it a pleasant ride. Follow the same route as the walking directions, and you will arrive at Somoskői Vadaspark.
